Saudi Conquest of Asir 1920

Other Ikhwan expeditions succeeded in overpowering Asir, an independent enclave in the southwest.

The Ikhwan were also instrumental in securing the provinces of Asir, just south of the Hejaz on the coast (1920).

In 1920 Ibn Sa'ud's son Faysal captured the province of Asir between the Hejaz and Yemen.
