Index of Wars and Conflicts relating to Albania

This index presents historical and modern wars and conflicts taking place in the present territory of, or relating to, Albania. Albania achieved independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1912. It was conquered by Italy in 1939 and occupied by Germany in 1943. Albania reclaimed its independence when Communist partisans took over in 1944 and it has remained an independent state since 1944.
