Index of Wars and Conflicts relating to Ghana

This index presents historical and modern wars and conflicts taking place in the present territory of, or relating to, Ghana. Ghana gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1957. The territory consists of two British colonial possessions, the Gold Coast colony established in 1867 and the Togoland trust territory administered since 1916. It is also the successor state to the Asante Kingdom.
