In Britain... Fighter output for July is found to be 50 percent above the target figures. Since May 1st 1200 fighters have been produced. This is more than have been made in Germany and the RAF is therefore closing the numerical advantage of the Luftwaffe.


This chronological study of the Second World War provides a comprehensive day-by-day account of WWII. While focused on the military history of the war, with an emphasis on the battles and campaigns fought, the timeline includes social and political history as well.
