In the Atlantic... A German U-boat pack attacks Convoy SC-94 marking a return to large scale U-boat actions in the North Atlantic. 11 ships are lost from the convoy. However, improved defensive weapons and strategies sink two U-boats and damage 4 others.
This chronological study of the Second World War provides a comprehensive day-by-day account of WWII. While focused on the military history of the war, with an emphasis on the battles and campaigns fought, the timeline includes social and political history as well.
