SS attacks begin in the Warsaw GhettoIn Occupied Poland... The SS begins operations against the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto. Buildings are burned or blown up but resistance continues. Jewish fighters make use of the sewers and the rubble to continue their struggle. Those Jews captured are either shot immediately or transported to the death camps.
