ABC Terrorism in Cuba 1930-1933

With between 30,000 and 40,000 members, the ABC used terrorism and sabatoge against the government, whose reprisals were murderous. In June 1933, the secret groups agreed to accept mediation by the US ambassador to Cuba, Sumner Welles (1892-1961), to end the violence, but shortly a general strike and a clash between police and citizens occurred.
