Ba'ath Coup in Iraqi 1968

Ba'ath Party (Arab Socialist Renaissance Party) took power by coup in Iraq (July); Ahmed Hassan al Bakr became president (until 1979), although Saddam Hussein was de facto dictator (from 1971).
