IS-2 Model 1944 (also IS-2M) was an armored vehicle
(heavy tank, AFV or armoured fighting vehicle) in combat use during the Second World War (World War II or WWII) primarily on the Eastern Front. The IS-2 was a fully tracked all-terrain vehicle designed for military operations. IS-2, also known as the Stalin II tank or JS-2, was produced and deployed by the Red Army of the Soviet Union (USSR). The technical drawing (plan, layout or profile) shows the general appearance characteristics of the specified model (version) of the IS-2 tank for purposes of identification and reference.
