Coup in Greece 1935

In the fall of 1935, Kondylis engineered a successful coup against Tsaldaris, assumed the premiership, and prompted the parliament to recall Greece's King George II (1890-1947), who was in exile; an almost unanimous vote in a plebiscite resulted in the enthronement of George on November 25, 1935.
