Assassination Attempt on Harry S. Truman 1950

Puerto Riccan nationalists Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola attacked Blair House (November 1), in Washington, DC, in a failed attempt to assassinate American President Harry S. Truman. Torresola and a guard were killed in the attack; Collazo's life sentence was later commuted (1979).
